Jasmine Brown rice with five spice braised pork belly
I came to stay with my sister in UK for 1 month. Well, it's so cold, and how lucky am I to get a cold as soon as I arrived here, -*-. So, you can see that I didn't post anything much, because all I wanted to do is stay in bed, sleeping, haha. Anyway, I felt a lot better now, and it's time for me to cook something that's suitable for this weather. Yes, a bowl full of delicious pork belly is what I want (it's cold so I need fat to warm myself, right?). But only the fat is not a good thing so I serve my five spice braised pork belly with brown jasmine rice that packed with vitamin and fibre, so you can claim that this dish is good for your health, hehe. Ps. my sister doesn't have electronic rice cooker, but she has a microwave one, so I soak the rice to make it easier to cook in the microwave, and use less water for cooking.
